All phones are targets for theft, hacking, etc. Here this article focuses on Android. But in many ways this can also be said about any phone. With the popularity of Android devices drastically on the rise, one has to wonder if this might be some sort of mis-information.
I's not, but Android based phones are not the only phones to worry about.

This is a great piece of software, but be aware of the laws in your area BEFORE doing this. In the US there are very strict laws and regulations in place about doing something like this.
But this is also very ingenious software that proves Open Source is and can be very powerful in the right hands.

Researchers at the University of Luxembourg may have discovered a new way to look at a Cell phone to hack it.
With various hacks and information available on various phones, most of these look at the Operating System.
This research focuses on the underlying Radio Chip with possible flaws in it to overcome a cell phone.
Take a look at the article. If this proves out to be true, then this could pose a serious problem to existing technologies.
