Researchers at the University of Luxembourg may have discovered a new way to look at a Cell phone to hack it.
With various hacks and information available on various phones, most of these look at the Operating System.
This research focuses on the underlying Radio Chip with possible flaws in it to overcome a cell phone.
Take a look at the article. If this proves out to be true, then this could pose a serious problem to existing technologies.

Electronic Voting Machine Hack

There has been a great deal of talk about the various Electronic Voting Machines. For the past few years, people have argues on the security or lack of it with these devices. My position is that it is a disaster waiting to happen. Anything electronic, given time can be hacked or broken. So where does this leave us? Open to a great deal of fraudulent voting practices in the long run. Forget about hanging chads! How can you verify votes in electronic format when at some point in time, event he network or databases or even the devices can be hacked to change counts ?

Now according to different reports, just the PCMCIA card was replaced, in others they specifically state that the Security Seals were not broken to do this simple hack. WOW. I personally think that as time goes on, we will see more and more hacks on these devices
