iPhone, iPad, iOS devices susceptible to permanent hack

I absolutely love it when someone touts the security of their devices, bragging and thumping their chests. This is a sure indication that someone will be embarrassing the hell out of them soon enough.
Here is another fine example. Through the use of a small program that can be accidentally or maliciously placed onto an iOS device, it can give unfettered access to the device from a remote location. This article explains the hack and how simple it is to accomplish.
Keep thumping your chests because sooner or later someone will find a way to expose you.
Elite Hacker done in by his iPhone

Anyone ever notice that if you take a photo with your cell phone, the photo is geotagged with information. These geotagging can pinpoint where you snapped the photo, time of day, etc.
Nifty feature, right ? But it is all about tracking users, tracking your every location and what you are doing (is Big Brother really watching now ?)
Well there is an article recently posted that states that an Elite Hacker from one of the off-shoots of Anonymous teased Law Officials with more information than they should have. They sent or posted photos in the attempt to tease the Law that they could not find them. (nyah nyah, you can't find me). But the images posted contained GPS coordinates and other information associated with Geotagging of photos. Did the Hacker screw up ? Big time.
Take the time to read this article , it IS hilarious in the long run.
This is a prime example of stupidity of the smartest of us. No matter how smart they are, eventually they will do something dumb that will get them caught. I don;t care who the person is, historically the more you are wanted, eventually something stupid will trip you up. So sometimes, I guess it pays to stay stupid and not be elite ?
Having accomplished various investigations into "Cyber Happenings", the devil IS in the details and its usually something everyone often overlooks. Something we take for granted or worse, something stupid that exposes what was going on. Its that piece of the puzzle that is staring you right in the eyes. Some may say "you are looking too deeply" or "you are looking to make something out of something that is just not there". It's always there. How smart are you to catch the smallest of details or something staring you right between the eyes?
Enjoy.

I like Apple products to some degree. I do not like their limited user experience in comparison to other Vendor offerings.
I am talking about the iPhone and iPad only.
Apple likes to control the user where other vendors give the freedom to the user to do as you want.
I've researched Apple and even played with the security on some devices. IN my opinion, Apple distorts the truth to protect its market share.
Gaping Security hole in Skype for Android

The Skype application for Android contains a flaw that allows a rogue app to access and harvest users' personal information and things like chat logs from the device without needing root access or special permissions.
Sometimes vendors rush to get their product out there for a new media platform. In doing so, sometimes they overlook the most important aspects of the platform; Information Security. We rush out and buy or download the latest and greatest thing or software or apps for our devices and totally trust that that app is secure. I think our vendors need to refocus on Security. Things like this can get a company bad press and a downturn within their market. Granted that Skype is rather large, but I am sure people will think twice about using their software because of incidences like this.
