The more you place things into the Cyber World without thinking through all aspects of what you are doing, the more chances that you are overlooking Security issues.

Think about this for a second.   You are in a hurry to put out the trash.  You run, empty the trash cans from the rooms, especially the kitchen into the large curb-side container and then rush out to put it onto the curb for pick up that day. All done, jump into he car and zoom... you are gone.  The trash man comes and taketh away. You come home at the end of the day and as you are wheeling the trash container back to its resting place there it is...  you forgot to throw other things out that you had stacked next to or just behind the large trash container.  Now it all comes back! In your rush to get out the door, you looked past what you intended to do.  Oh stupid me, well that's what I get for rushing out the door!

In the Cyber World, when you make a mistake or purposely overlook things such as Security issues, its not a slap on the wrist.  It can be something larger, like a systems breach, stolen credentials, stolen data or worse!

Here are 2 articles referenced here that underlines the need to include Security especially Cyber Security into the big picture.  No longer is it that ugly sister in the back room that you keep locked and dread for the day for it to be released.  She's out and its not a pretty site.  Plan for the Security needs up front.
