This is in no way related to the Hacker Manifesto by the Mentor in 1986 .
This is more in line with how I've conducted myself for the past XX years as I work in the Cyber Security / IT Security Industry.
Definition of a Creed:
A creed is a set of fundamental beliefs, any summary of principles or opinions professed or adhered to.
This is the Creed of a CyberFreek:
- To ask Questions.
- To Deep Dive & find Root Cause.
- To stay on the bleeding edge of Cyber Security & Technology.
- To hack hardware, software and more.
- To learn & grow continuously.
- To interact with all.
- To evolve previous knowledge to enhance tomorrow's technology.
- To help others achieve their potential in Cyber Security.
- To mentor where needed as need and as many times as it takes.
- To find humor in the darkest of days.
- To document for others to follow.
- To understand what is hard to understand and keep pushing on.
- To never quit. Take a break and re-engage as many times as needed.
- To protect by discovery and innovation.
- To report and discuss so all can understand at new levels.
- To always have fun in the process.
This Creed is subject to change, but these are the fundamental points of this Creed.
Do you have a Creed or your own guidelines besides industry documentation?
Share it !
Cheers
